Gmail Mobile, Opera Mini 4
I’ve been using Opera Mini for a while now, but as of version 4 (just out of beta), it’s improved a whole lot. For one, it has support for javascript, and for another, if it can’t compress a web page down to a size that fits on your screen, it will provide a zoomed out version that you can mouse around, then zoom into. Lovely.
I only installed the GMail Mobile Client last night, but already I’m impressed. Because it’s a dedicated gmail program, it caches the email headers for you, lets you view in conversation mode (like the javascript enabled version of the site) and is just faster on the mobile than trying to use a browser.
